• Simple and advanced keyword, phrase and date search features. Given that 1GB of data could equate to circa 10,000 electronic documents being able to quickly and efficiently search for relevant documents may save considerable time.
• Quickly filter documents by date range, file type, author, recipients (etc.) to identify relevant or exclude irrelevant documents.
• Fast, easy review of documents in their ‘native’ format without needing to switch between different software, which would be necessary if looking at a range of documents in Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint or as emails.
• Easy ‘tagging’ and classification of documents.
• Ease of sharing documents with multiple parties such as people in other offices, the client, experts, counsel etc. No need to make multiple photocopies of the same documents.
• Ease of referring to specific documents - all documents have a unique ID number and this can be shown on the document if printed out.
• Easy batch printing of selected documents directly from the Relativity system. This includes pagination and any confidentiality or other endorsement required on the face of the document.
• Easy redaction and highlighting on documents. Redacted or highlighted versions can be easily printed.
• Fast and easy production of disclosure list.
• Relativity has features to accelerate document review including addressing the issues of duplicates, attached documents, near duplicates and email chains.
